We are a 100% Costa Rican company, a pioneer in being certified as BCorp, a type of company that uses the power of business to provide concrete solutions to social and environmental problems. This ranking has given us great exposure in international markets.
We founded YUXTA Energy in 2014 intending to generate a positive impact on society, diversifying the country's energy matrix with projects specially designed to generate clean energy through solar panels; as well as measuring the energy consumption of the homes or businesses where we install our systems and thus guarantee savings of up to 95% on your electricity bill.
What has our trajectory been like?
Our founder and CEO, Ernesto Moreno, began his private career in the manufacturing area, later developing companies in the Software area, then moving to Plastics with organizations that grew rapidly in Central America, the Caribbean, and the United States. It was in 2009 that he decided to become an impact entrepreneur, managing to develop important PET recycling solutions in the United States and Costa Rica.
Since 2013, it has decided to focus its efforts on adapting solutions that decarbonize economies, focusing on energy efficiency, distributed generation with renewable sources, and electric transport. This is how YUXTA Energy was consolidated, "a place where the power of business is used to solve the world's problems", as defined by the gentleman/its founder... Tanned.

The challenges we have faced:
The evolution of the market has been favorable for the company, which has also benefited from advances in technology and the low costs of photovoltaic cells. Thanks to this, more interest has been generated in the public, as the projects are becoming more and more profitable. In addition, the transition to clean energy cannot be postponed.
Changes in legislation, such as the new distributed generation law, have opened new opportunities for YUXTA Energy and its business partners, who always aim for progress hand in hand with positive practices.

Present day
We currently offer solar panel systems with a 25-year generation warranty for businesses. We also provide full accompaniment and personalized assistance in each of our projects. Additionally, we have our own financing through financial leasing, which allows customers greater facilities to obtain their solar project, and with the savings the installment is paid.
The control of electricity expenditure is another pillar in YUXTA Energy's service because, through online monitoring and specialized software, the areas where energy efficiency projects can be developed are identified.
What's Next?
The same need to implement more and more clean energy to decarbonize our economy represents a great growth opportunity for the company and a benefit for the environment. On the other hand, the constant advance in technologies will represent savings for all parties involved, with more profitable, more powerful projects and with minimum time to perceive the return on investment.
